“I enjoyed attending the Investor Gold & Uranium Symposium held in Saskatoon on November 30th. There were some great presentations from Saskatchewan junior mining companies including; MAS Gold Corp., Whitehorse Gold Corp., Element 79 Gold Corp., Canagold Resources Ltd., Standard Uranium Ltd., and Searchlight Resources Inc. The keynote speaker, Darcy Hirsekorn, provided us with interesting comments and insights with regards to the challenges and opportunities in the global Uranium pipeline. As noted, the biggest challenge to the Saskatchewan Junior mining industry is lack of capital and access to capital. This will be an on-going struggle in our industry as traditional Investment Advisors have moved towards increased wealth management in their practices and away from the venture capital side of the business.
